Try using Sitz bath after your bowel movements each time, it helps a lot! Also include lot of fibers in your diet , go for regular walks, drink lots of water, avoid foods that create constipation, eat soft mushy foods, cook your food really soft and easy to digest. Also ask your Ob/Gyn for stool softener. It’ll put you at ease for sometime.
I would suggest not to use suppositories as it gives relief temporarily but creates bigger problems later. It widens your rectum area from inside so that you poop without pain, but making it difficult to get back to normal after a while. You wouldn’t be able to control your poop when you cough or sneeze later in life. So be very careful with suppository.
