Have you got the number for your local early pregnancy unit or community midwives call either of them and they can give you some advice.
Good luck and hugs x
As you probably know spotting can be normal in the first trimester as long as its minimal. If its continuous or you are filling a pad please try be seen asap. Hugs
Ohh I bet it will be fine There isn't much EPU would be able to do other than reassure you, but it's worth a call. I don't think they'd be able to scan you any quicker xx
moomoo I know its so hard to not worry but its also so common. Ive had bleeding in 4 pregnancies now but both alex and this beanie is fine. I guess you're feeling a bit on edge now until Monday
Ive heard brown blood is just old blood but i would keep trying to call your midwife or the nhs helpline if your really worried... Im sure you'll be fine tho xx
I know its easier to say than it is to do but please try not to panic. There must be a community mw you can speak to? If I coulsnt reach my own mw I would phone epu/labour ward for advice x
moomoo just wanted to let u know that i had some red spotting at 13 weeks and everything turned out to be fine- try not to worry, easier said than done i know but im sure everything is ok x
I've had pink spotting off and on for the past few weeks. I had an emergency scan at around 9 weeks when it started and the baby was progressing normally with a strong HB. I started getting the spotting again about a week later. I called the nurse just for reassurance. She told me that the type of bleeding I was describing was most likely coming from my cervix, which shouldn't affect my pregnancy at all. It was very watery/mixed with cm, sometimes kind of gloopy... She said that because of increased blood flow, the cervix bleeds really easily for some women, but this usually becomes less likely as the pregnancy progresses.
I hope this helps you a little... I know it's still very unsettling. Sending your way!
Thanks girls, phoned Nhs direct in the end and they have got me an out of hours appt with a doctor. She said it sounds like I might have a urine infection too? XX
Ok back from out of hours gp, no urine infection. Also no more blood since this afternoon, cm has gon back to creamy White colour? Is this a good sign?
He also said to wait and see what scan says on Monday and to rest up til then. So nervous
