Placenta moved?

I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks and had an anterior placenta. At my 20 week scan the other day she said it was lateral (so on the side) is it common for placentas to move in that short space of time?

yes i think so, mine moved from my 16-20 week appt from being anterior to posterior
