please help! I really really need some way to get baby to sleep more

I tried cc, pupd ,cio....not. much luck but i probably gave up too quickly.

I ended up giving him a bottle to sleep with and its been amazing ever since. I know eventually i'll have another battle to deal with but i am fine with that...
We all are much happier :)

In the. Beginning i would have to refill once a night which was great compared to what we were dealing with beforehand so i didnt mind. Now he gets a bottle of. Water at 7pm and i dont hear a peep until 4-5am.

Just another suggestion....:hugs:

so he sleeps with a bottle of water? or milk? and when is your los last feed? and how does your lo nap in the day? sorry for all the questions m just resaerchimg every single avenue I can.

Basically do whatever works.

I second the co-sleep suggestion. Dind't particulary want to do it but DS1 woke every night between 2-4am and wouldn't settle unless we brought him into our bed. So we did that until he suddenly started STTN propery at 16/17 months. Hoped DS2 would be different but have started doing almost the same. They fall asleep so quickly when in your bed and there is lots of ways to make it safe. You do end up though with a permanent sore back by sleeping in the strange c-position with little or no pillow!

Also try rocking to sleep in the buggy for daytime naps. I tried so hard to get Sam to nap in his cot and it was just a stupid waste of time. He napped in the hall in his buggy from 13 months to just over 2 years. No rod for back - now at 2.5 he happily gets into his bed for a nap after lunch and I leave the room and he falls asleep on own.

Don't despair though - you'll be amazed at the impact daycare will have. It was only that which started Sam napping in the day at all and I think helped with night sleeping too.

Ask way momma :hugs: i dont mind at all. I know how draining it can be!!

At first when i started he was 6months so i gave him about 3oz of formula right when i laid him down for the night. He probably had a bottle 2hrs before that.

Then when he woke in the night i'd refill it with 2oz. And. Quick. Diaper change and he would go back to sleep.
After that was mastered, i watered them down more and more so he wasn't getting so much calories at night. He eventually went to water around a yr old.

Naps are the same deal, i sometimes give him a mix of whole milk with water since he is 15months old now. And he sleeps just fine.

Once he hit about 10/11months i didnt have to go in once a night anymore..he would use the bottle to fall asleep and not need the bottle for the rest of the night (unless teething)

Before all this it was horrible. I couldnt leave his side or all hell would break loose..lol.

I think lo likes it for comfort...hope you figure something out. Any more questions i'm here to help:hugs:

Orientation went well. And he went down really easy when I got back using the same method they used. Rocking the cot a little and rubbing his back till sleepy then leave. Whit whoooo!! Fingers crossed it keeps working.
