PLEASE HELP ME. Causing terrible arguments!!

i wanted a very small wedding and reception and to be child friendly as zane was 5 months and ohs cousins children were young too, well his f*cking mother invited all her mates to MY reception (most of them didnt even talk to us or give us a card, just sat there n eat my food, then his sister bought her mates who then stole off my other guests (they were off their faces on drugs) and she still hasnt said sorry.
the room where the reception was, was packed and no one would even more out of my way...hello woman in a wedding dress MOVE lol n my son couldnt even be in there as wen the dj turned the music down , mil told them to turn it up.
she ruined my day by inviting people i didnt want there and i look back on that day n feel sad.
dont let anyone push u around not even ur oh lol stick to ur guns and only invite who u want there

Goodness Moomin troll. I'm so sorry. That must have been devastating. The thought of that makes me really shudder!!!!
Nah, I've decided to invite her (to keep the peace between me and OH) but I'm going to explain to her the truth- the only people that she knows there are going to be busy all day (photo's, speeches, sat on the top tables, other usher/ bestman duties) so she will be sat on a table on her own basically and be alone all day.
Sounds harsh, but thats how little she is to our family, nobody knows her, or wants to know her. Shes bad news all round.
Plus, I dont know how she'll get there. The venue is very far out from where we live and her boyfriend needs to be at the venue early to sort everything out, plus no room in the car, and there is no way on this earth I will allow her to be with the boys all morning, she'll distract them from what they have to get on with and moan all morning because she is bored. So she will have to find her own way up- but she doesn't drive.

Excuse my wording but.........FUCKING WEDDINGS!!!!
Just been having the same problem myself, my partner and i want a small wedding, cant stand all the attention ect and people staring at you, most of all if you dont really know them...so we told everyone-look guys no one get a bee in your bonnet but its immeadiate family and a few friends only.....everyone one was of course its your day.......everyone bar the mother-in-law who kicked a right sodding fuss up and blamed everything on me. i went fucking mad!
So we really have said now that we did a list to try and keep everyone happy and it didn't work so now if they dont like it then thats very unforunate and if people decide that they are not going to come(thats what she said) then so be it!

Weddings always turn into fu**ing (sorry but ivy-pickle got me going!!) politics. Its not fair. Why should I have to pay £50 ++ to a girl I really can't stand? And why must it be bloody ettiqute to invite her just because she is the girlfriend of the best man? why why why????????????

oooh luv tough one! I wouldn't invite her tbh... I'd do as some of the others suggsted and invite her to the evening only.
At the end of the day, someone is going to be offended or miss out on your wedding - why should it be someone you love and actually want to be there on your big day, just so you can invite some spoilt brat you can't stand!? Especially when her OH has said he doesn't have a problem with it.

OH MY GOODNESS. This girl just annoys me more and more.
