:howdy: i was wondering if anyone else has got pregnant after bieng diagnosed with unexplainable infertility?

me and DH have been ttc for 9 years now and never concieved we have been tested for everything twice over and everthing is normal.
i have been put on clomid 100mg but its not helped me get pregnant only made me feel like  im now starting to loose hope that i may never have a baby. everyone around me is on their 3rd baby now and im gonna be an auntie to 4 in total soon. i cant seem to be pleased for them because of how sad i feel all the time .
i feel like a failure to my husband as i cant give him a child we both desperatly want.
if anyone out there has a happy ending for me i would love to hear it, to keep my hopes alive that one day i can give my DH the child he deserves.

thanks xxx

Hi there, welcome to BnB. Have you and DH undergone all the tests? Has the doctor suggested anything after clomid? Like IUI or IVF? I am sure a good doctor can definitely help you both a lot.
I really hope you don't have to wait any longer for a well deserved BFP. You will find a lot of support here. Also, you could pop in to the LTTTC section?

I'm afraid I can't help as just starting out here but didn't want to read and run

Wishing you lots of baby dust and that someone with experience will come along soon xxx

thanks for replying so quick i have every test possible, about a thousand blood tests lol, ovary, kidney and womb scans, hsg dye test, laparoscapy, STD checks, examinations, numerous specialist appointments but there is only so much my hospital can do for me. they have put more pressure on me by saying if clomid does not work before my next appointment then its off to sheffield fertilty clinic for more tests. they did talk about IUI and not IVF as im apparently to young!!!
Its hard to get a straight answer from specialists but they said there is no reason i cant get pregnant. i thinks sometimes it would be better to have a problem to blaim than having unexplainable infertilty

Too young? I've never heard that before? how old are you if you dont mind me asking?

I have heard IUI can really help. fx for you.

My sister had unexplained infertility and even had IVF to no success....In the end her and her husbands relationship deteriorated....she met a new man and now has a lovely 5 year old. I think she had completely given up all hope of ever having children....started to enjoy herself and then one drunken evening.....conception occurred.
So miracles do happen.....

im 27 years old i started laughing when they said so :haha:, i have heard that they have upped the maximum age limit for ivf but not sure what to. i dont know if its true. so i suppose in there eyes im still young. my friend at work is 34 years old and her friend has just had her first round of ivf. so i know there is still pleany of time yet.

Here in Portsmouth, IVF minimum age is 30, maximum is 34 (i think). I think 30 is generally the minimum age throughout most NHS trusts.

Best of luck to you - hopefully you won't need to wait for IVF :flower:
