Please read - Discrimination

Bless you hun, its horrible how some people dont take people's feelings into consideration :wacko:

My SIL is a lesbian and she's currently living with her partner, i've never had anything against gays but she's the sweetest person you can ever meet and loves LO to bits x

What a cock!

I often joke about the time I was once threatened with being thrown out of a pub for kissing an ex and having my arm around her, but really this sort of thing is all too common and it's just ridiculous. (I could almost understand if it was full-on snogs and PDA - but it wasn't! :wacko:)

I agree with going to the police. If you'd screamed at her for the colour of her skin - something she could no more change than you can your sexuality - she would report it I'm sure.

:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

I am so deeply sorry that happened, it was disgusting and yes it was clearly discrimination. I would have never sat there and have been quiet if that occurred in my presence . I would have been mortified. Nobody has the right to say that to you, they have right to feel they way they want to feel, but not to say those terrible things and hurt you or anyone like that. Just know there are people out there who support you and who are not like this. How dare she :nope::nope: :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Unacceptable :hugs: She's the disgusting one.

I will never understand why people feel the need to hurl abuse at others that, stupidly, make them feel uncomfortable just by being different than them. If you're small minded and uncomfy, just bloody move or don't look at someone, don't ruin their day by being a complete tw*t

I'm bi and decided to come out at high school age 14. I was bullied horribly and I completely understand where you're coming from when you said that you held it together in front of her but broke down in private...I used to do that often. Hugs again x

I actually feel sorry for these sort of people nowadays. How one tracked and sheltered must your life be to have these sort of views and to be honest - as wrong as it may sound, but I see these sorts of people as the uneducated and bottom of society folk that they are!

I am so pleased that you held your head high and I can only imagine how much you fell apart afterwards. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember that these people are a MINORITY nowadays.

:hugs: to you and the missus, you handled it the best way you knew how :hugs:

I'm so sorry hon that this happened :hugs: She is a closed minded idiot don't let her ruin your day.

i dealt with this crap ALL THE TIME in middle school and highschool. i'm so sorry she upset you.. but you gotta try not to let it get to you. she is wrong.. and she hasnt the right to remove your happiness. don't let morons ruin your day. i know it's easier said than done, but over time i learned to laugh it off while comforting my girlfriend at the time.. someday we will have a better world for our efforts. a world where our sons and daughters can grow up to love and be whomever they wish. <3

I'll be the odd one out here and say I don't feel sorry for this lady, she is in her 30's and its 2012, she does not deserve my sympathy! She has had many years to grow up and become a respectable adult and hasn't done so, what a waste of space. I do feel sorry for her children who no doubt will feel pressured to also be so close minded and ridiculous.

I wish I would have been on that bux, I would have made that lady feel 2 inches tall.
