popping over from BF, questions...

hello! going back to work and probably going to BF only morning and night. just wondering for those of you who have a baby close in age to mine, how many bottles of formula total do they get in a day and how many ounces?

my LO will drink about 6-8 ounces of pumped breast milk before bed if i am out and about.......or 3-4 during teh day here and there, and i think its less than other babies, possibly less than FF babies but i have no idea!

i BF about 4-5 times a day, how many times do/did you formula feed your 8 month old? i will likely send 2 bottles to the babysitter while i am at work, one per each nap.....

help?

Hi hun. Just read ur post. 18-21 oz of formula is all what they need at this age in addition to 3 solids. It's around 3 bottles. Omar only takes 10-15 oz & in very good days he can go for 18 oz (since he was 6.5 mnths). I offer him dairy & cheese to make up for the dropped ozs.
