popping over with a quick question

hey ladies

hope you dont mind me popping over for a quick question,im just wondering if any of you when you went for your first 12 week scan find out that you were alot further on than you actually thought you were?

Nope i was exactly on time 14 weeks and 1 day when i finally had my first scan crappy hospital lol

i went thinking i was 11 weeks and got dated at 12+1 so i was a week ahead

The scan put me 10 days ahead of my original due date (based on my LMP). However because I was 15+4 by the time I had my '12 week scan' they did the measurement by head circumference which I've read is less accurate anyway.

They have written my scan due date in my notes, but I'm sticking with the original one!

Yes I was moved forward by 4 days...I thought it was great!! anything to make me a step closer to meeting Baby!!

i estimated my due date to be the 30th october but after my 12 week scan i got givin the 29th october. so id day mine was exactly on time

i was 12 but got put ahead at 12+5. I knew they would put me ahead though as i knew exactly when i ovulated.

my first EDD was 4/11 but after my scan they told me 2/11 x

i was 14 week and 2 days when i went for my dating scan i had to wait 5 week to get appointment, bt i thought id be around 12 week x

Other way for me I went to my dating scan thinking I was 12+3 and was put BACK to 10+6... gutted!!! x

Thank you for all your replies,the reason why i asked was because im 9 weeks so have my first scan in 3 weeks but this morning i swear i could feel fluttering! this is my 2nd baby and i know they say you feel it earlier but at 9weeks its way to small to feel,so im wondering if it was maybe a bit of wind or i might be in for a shock at the scan hehe,il let you all know in 3 weeks!

I was 12+1 when I had the scan, and the measurements showed 13, but we left my date as is. I had a scan at 5+4 and the earlier scans are meant to be more accurate. Babies all grow at different rates.
