Hi there ladies,
We'be been trying for our third for nearly two years now with five early losses in that time. I've been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic at my local hospital and they did a range of tests. Everything came back normal (as I was expecting it to, my fertility clinic didn't find anything wrong with me), but I did get a positive test result for lupus anticoagulant, which as I understand it, doesn't mean I have lupus, but that I have 'sticky blood' as it were. I also understand that I need to have another test in three months as it could be a false positive.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever had this and suffered with repeated early pregnancy loss (around the implantation stage - my tests never progress, so it's a very early issue) and also with infertility?
The consultant was pretty emphatic it doesn't cause infertility, it various studies online suggest otherwise.
