" A pregnancy test will develop 2 lines only if hCG (pregnancy hormone) is detected. Thus, "a line is a line" when determining a positive HPT. OPK's work differently. An OPK has a "control" line and a "test" line, just like an HPT. Unlike an HPT, however, the mere presence of a "test" line does not mean the test is positive. The test line must be as dark as, or darker than, the control line to be a positive result (meaning that a surge was detected, rather than the ordinary amount of LH usually found in your urine every day.)"

Hey... I'm fine. Nothing interesting to report. Haven't done opks in a couple days and have spent a ton of time online researching rentals, etc for our Disney trip. I've had my niece at least a little bit every day for the past 6 days, and 5 of those days was for 14+ hours. But she's almost 4, so she's pretty easy, especially since DH plays the big brother role with her.

How are you doing, Stacey? Is little man behaving himself?

Fingers, you're MIA and making me nervous. I hope you and your family are okay and that your Grandma is okay too.

doing pretty good the kids had a 4 day weekend this week so i was busy with their crazy butts yea he is being a good boy in there just ready for him to be safely here me and dh have been so worried this whole pregnancy

Hello ladies. I know I have been gone awhile. I have been handling alot house wise and family wise lately. Currently, I am on cd10 and is still bleeding. I went to the doctor on the 22nd and she has switched me to Generess Fe which is a higher dose birth control. I start taking that Sunday Hopefully, this will help out rather than this current BCP. Also, update about DH. Well he they have officially gave him his new rating and contract. So no more submarines for him He is leaving Connecticut on February 1st to go to his "A" school for his new rate which is AM (Aviation Structural Mechanic). And the best part of it all is that his "A" School is in Pensacola, FL which is around 5-6 hours away. So I can make weekend trips to go see him Also, he is only going to be there for 41 days and then after that..he will be shipped off to his official duty station which is where we will be living. So around March..we should be moving to our new home My MIL moved in on Monday night and I must say..we wasnt getting along well at all. She called my DH to complain about me and he told me so I was very pissed and he was too. He feels as if she is trying to cause division just because she is going through her situation and we both dont like it and he said he would stop dealing with his mom if she continues on the path she is on. Well, I finally sat down and talked to her so she can understand who runs this house and that Im not going to be bossed around. The conversation didnt really get us anywhere but at the end of the day, I can say I tried. I told DH about the conversation and he is proud of me and now understands that his mom is just as stubborn as can be and he keeps informing me that Im going to be leaving soon and is thankful that I wont have to put up with her for long which makes me happy too. March will be here in no time So thats whats been going on with DH and I.

Hey MzSwizz! Glad to "see" you! So glad your DH will be moving closer to you. 5-6 hours is a bit of a drive, but definitely manageable, especially since you know it is just for about 6 weeks. Sorry your MIL is being a pain. You'd think she would be appreciative of you letting her stay there instead of complaining.

Nothing much new around here... just planning the vacation and STILL waiting for O. We just went to IHOP for dinner and I can't believe how much I ate. I'm trying to lose weight (though right now I've just added exercise and cut out most pop) but haven't changed my diet much. I CLEARED my plate(s) and ate DH's eggs (I'd already eaten my own). Usually my belly is satisfied before my brain is, and I stop. Today my brain was like "hey we should've been full a long time ago" and my belly was saying "nom nom nom" lol. Don't know what the deal was. Guess it was probably because I'd only had a little bit to eat today.

Well I woke up a little late (less than an hour though), and my temp was 97.58... FF gave me my CH back saying I'm 16 dpo. I'm sure they'll go away eventually. I'm wondering if my temp will go up more tomorrow. Not going to stress about it though. We BD on CD30, so if I O'd, there would be a decent chance. If I didn't O, I still have more time to BD and catch an egg. I'm sick of waiting for O, though, so I hope it did happen. Waiting it out as usual.

Well I guess yesterday's temp was just a fluke. I was getting hopeful last night because my temp was high while relaxing, but it must have been the blanket and pillows making me warmer or something.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Nothing exciting around here. My brother and his girlfriend came over last night to finally nail down some things for our trip, so as soon as my income tax comes in, I'll be ready to make reservations...yay! I had picked up 2 opks Saturday while I was out and they were negative Sat and Sun so who knows how long I'll be waiting still.

Fngrs (wherever you are)... I see AF came for you. Sorry to hear it but it looks like you're on CD7 already so you'll probably O again before I do.

Weekend was good today was my first NST and little man failed it his heart rate wasnt going up the right way i go back in 3 days so ill see what happens on that one and what they say :-/

Sorry Ladies internet has been down at my mom's house. I had to drive all the way back home to get my hotspot, to use while here. Grandmother is doing ok. But I am thinking that we will be going to the E.R. with her soon so she can be admitted. She has some sort of sore on the bottom of her foot that isn't looking good and it's getting bigger. DH came this way and I am sure he is ready to go home now, but I am going to have to do a couple more nights so I can see if she will be admitted.

Well I couldn't update my chart of course. So FYI I was't preggo...lol which I never am but oh well. Here we go again.

L.E. I was so expecting to see Ovulation for you, and a positive test. But hey you are still in the running for it and that is a good thing!

Fngrs, Do you think you O'd on CD12 then or just had a shorter LP than usual? I hope all goes well with your grandma. I'm sure you're ready to be back home. Are the kids with you or DH or are you all together there?
