Positive OPK a week after CBFM peak

Can any one tell me why I got a positive OPK (for 3 days) a week after my CBFM displayed a 'peak' I am disputing my 'peak' this month as the test stick had a very very vivid dark blue Estrogen line yet no LH line was very visible. My temps almost agree with the CBFM aside the fact I had another dip the day I had my positive OPK then have risen again. I had no ovulation pains when my monitor was at peak but had very bad cramps the day and after of my positive OPK. Has this happened to anyone else? I am rather confused.

id say disregard the peak also + take the + opk you got after as your surge

Thank you, that is what I thought but feel so confused, everywhere I read it says to trust the monitor but when everything else conflicts it I decided that the CBFM's don't always get it right. The day I had my positive OPK I pee'd on a CBFM test stick and that came up with no Estrogen line and a very vivid LH line.
