Positive OPK's twice in the same cycle?!

This will be tmi I'm sure, but here goes.
The week of the 23rd, I noticed an increase in cm and did a week of opk's and they were positive that week. Now this week I've been seeing ewcm (lots of it!) and did an opk today along with a ic (hcg, just in case!). The ic came out negative, the opk seems to be detecting a surge AGAIN!
Has this happened to any of you before? I thought we couldn't ovulate twice in one month?
HELP PLEASE!

I've heard that it can happen actually. It's not common but possible. There are exceptions to every rule, even in science!
