Positive test 4 weeks after early mis

I had a v early mis about 4 weeks ago , my htc levels dropped over 2 days from 300 to 79, they said I had mis & to retest after I week, and if still positive to contact the hospital. I tested & it was Negative !

For the past week I've has sore breasts , tiredness & generally feeling a lil different. I took a clear blue test & it said Pregnant 1-2 weeks.
Called the hospital to see if I could possibly be pregnant or left over Hormone from mis "but previous test was neg" they told me its possibly left of htc & to retest in a week.. Anyone else has this, I`m confused & not sure what to think

Hi Brooke, I'm sorry for your loss. Did you ever find out if it was a new pregnancy or left over HCG? I was in the same predicament. I kept getting positive pregnancy test results about four weeks after an early MC. It turns out that I was pregnant! Here's hoping that yours is a new pregnancy

Hi Daisypetals, Congratulations I am indeed expecting, although I am afraid to believe it :/ Test this week is saying 1 week further than last so I am guessing my levels are rising.. Also have some symptoms. I called the epu and they said congratulations & see you at 12 weeks for my first scan. I have had two MC since April so I am v nervous & 12 weeks seems like a long time not knowing. Fingers crossed each time I go to the loo for no blood. How are things going for you?

I had a loss beginning June 4th (I was over 12 weeks). I tested out my hcg for a few weeks and then within a weeks of it going negative it went positive again. I am now almost 8 weeks along.

I've read many times that you can be extremely fertile after a loss....seems to be the case with all of us Let's hope we all have sticky little rainbows

Congratulations, I hope things work out for you this time & I am sure they will. 8 weeks is a milestone for me as I've not got that far in my pre 2 miss. All is going well at the moment although its not enjoyable because I am so nervous each day I get through is a relief :/ I am sure you know all to well.

Have you had any early tests or scans? I am stressing I wont know anything for 12 weeks & I thought the may see me earlier as my history but the don't see concerned. xx

Hey girls can I join in this convo? I wasn't as quick to catch as either of u as I was 8wks after mmc that we fell again. I'm now 4+2 and making myself I'll with worry. I have no symptoms at all and I suppose that's what worries me most. I assumed that I would feel something but other than missing AF nothing is diff I'm praying it won't be another mmc x

Hi LynneK sorry for the long reply, I've been on my hols. How are things going ? I'm around 7/8 weeks now , I have a scan booked for Tue to make sure all is well. This pregnancy defiantly feels different , feel so sic & food makes me feel ill, trying to force it down though, all welcome ailments though as I've heard sickness means healthy pregnancy. Hope you are well ?

I had a scan this week at 9+3 and baby looked amazing! Was kicking and waving and had a nice string heartbeat So in love!

Hi girls.
I had a m/c at 6+2 in May and it all cleared on its own. Tests were negative a week later. So when I got a faint BFP exactly 4 weeks after the m/c, I just knew that was it.
Of course I was extremely nervous, checking my panties for blood all the time... But it looks like I got my rainbow - I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow .

Hi all, I'm going through the same thing right now. I had a chemical (AF ended up being three days late, but I did get BFPs) where the bleeding started August 3rd. I got a negative test between the bleeding and O. DH and I did try this cycle. Then two days ago, 3 weeks and 1 day after the bleeding started, I started getting positives again. The lines on my Wondfos are getting darker over time, which is encouraging that it's not just from last month. I actually got a negative on Sunday, a very very faint line Monday morning, a visible line Monday evening, and now definite lines yesterday morning and evening and this morning. I've also had two positive digitals. I definitely feel like I have symptoms.

In order to "prove" I'm pregnant and get an OB I have to get a positive urine pregnancy test at the clinic, which came back negative yesterday. The RN said that it was probably just too early for it since their test isn't all that accurate. But that means I have to wait at least another week to take another test with them, then I have to wait to speak with the OB coordinator, then I can finally get an OB.

I'm just really scared that this is actually from the chenical last month. I'm scared this isn't real. I don't even really feel like I'm pregnant yet; I don't think I've really let myself accept it. I'm also scared of losing this one, but I don't feel that as much, I'm scared it's not a real pregnancy. I had a CP a couple months before I got pregnant with my daughter as well, but I don't remember being this scared; maybe it's because we had two negative cycles in between the CP and the pregnancy. I just really wish that I could really confirm that I'm pregnant again and this isn't from the chemical.
