I’m asking for my friend who isn’t on this forum yet. This is def positive right? Even though it’s a thinner blue line?

If the vertical line showed up within the time limit, then I'd say that yes, it is positive. However, blue dye tests are well known for giving sneaky evap lines, so if this picture was taken after the time limit, I do suggest she buy another test (this time pink dye).

That certainly looks positive to me. While I prefer pink dye tests, I’ve never had problems with blue dye. Congrats to your friend!!

Looks positive to me. Like said above if the line showed within the test time then it's a BFP. If it showed after then evap but it looks too dark to be an evap to me. I don't have much experience with the blue dye tests but I have seen plenty of pink ones with a thin line like that.

She took 2 more tests and both were negative. It must’ve been a nasty evap. She said the line was there right after she took the test. Those should not be on the shelves!

Not having seen the test within the the time limit its hard to say but if the line was that dark within the time I'd be confident to say that isn't an evap. At most, within the testing time, you should see the faintest shadow of a line when you look close and hold it in the right light. Once the test dries the line can show darker. Did she take the other tests the same day? Could they have been less sensitive tests?
