Possible blighted ovum :-(

I just got back from the hospital after some spotting and cramping. According to my cycle, I should be 6+5, but according to the ultrasound, I'm measuring at 5+4, no yolk, no embryo. My HCG levels are at 4200 so, they would be at the normal range.
I'm scared... After our huge loss a few months back, a miscarriage would be very sad.

I'm still hopeful. I'm just not sure why my 25-28 day regular cycles would suddenly jump to 35 days. And if I conceived on day 23 of my cycle, how could I get a BFP only 5-6 days later? It just doesn't add up.
The dr said it could be blighted ovum. (around days 12-15, my ovulation tests were negative, could this be why?)
Now we have to wait a few days for another ultrasound and more bloodwork.
Fingers crossed...

Stay positive Mummy! I've had a MC due to blighted ovum over 2 years ago so I know the frustration and questions. I will be keeping you in my prayers tonight. Hoping for the better!

I had a scan yesterday. Should have been 6+1 saw a gestational sac only measuring 5 weeks

Hang in there. Sometimes those little beans like to play tricks on us and hide a bit. Everyone's pregnancies are different. I've freaked out plenty because my hCG levels start off low, stay on the lower end of the 'normal' range my entire pregnancy, but I've still made it to term twice. I've also had two blighted ovums so I know that feeling of wondering what's going on. Sending hope, prayers, and :hugs: your way!
