Possible ib anyone have experience with this

Spotted day 1 nothing much, slightly more but only when I wipe. THoughton weird af, as it occurred 1 day before af was due. Called sister who has had ib before. She says both times for her it occurred when af was due and lasted 3 days. No BFP for her til 3 to 4 days later. Anyone have this before? It confuses me bc with dd af was 1 day late, tested bfp. And, I felt horrible just before. Now, no cramps, bbs hurt, headaches. But NO cramps. Not sure when to test bc I am still spotting off and on. Guess I'll try to wait til I've had 1 whole day no spotting. But, really u certain if I should think ib or af
