Possible new layout solutions

Seen as the other thread about the new look got a little carried away and long I thought it might be worth while having a thread about contsructive critism rather then just "I dont like it" and maybe ways of changing it without loosing too much of the new layout to keep everyone happy
(hope you dont mind)

So other then "put it back" how do you think it could be improved upon a little within what is being done?

Articles
I think one of the big issues is the articles taking up too much space and causing large amounts of unused space.
Is it possible to change the layout so that the articles are single file so they dont take up as much room and then the threads arnt so squished.
Even better have them going across the screen inbetween the adverts and thread titles.
This way you wont have the problem of large waisted space down either side.
Also seen as the articles arnt section specific maybe just have them limited to the front page so that they are still there for people who want to read them (Im actualy finding some of them amusing) but not in your face once you are using the individual sections.

Adverts
I think plenty of others have given advice of how to get rid of them with adblockers.
I personaly dont use them because this is OH work laptop but maybe someone can make a post about how to do it so others can use them.

This one is purely a personal thing and im sure others probably dont care but I think the b in baby and bump would look so much better in capital
As for the momtastic thats clearly something everyone is going to have to just live with but any chance we can have the butterfly back?

Slowness
This is somthing that will clearly get better once changes have settled down so not much can be done although iv seen its alot better today alread.

I know there will be a forum view option but to be honest with so much effort going into the new layout that seems a little bit of a waist when with a few little tweaks I think we could all live with the new layout.

What other possible solutions can others think of (remember actual solutions rather then just I dont like it put it back)

I have moved and approved because although it's off the official thread I love the feedback and positive forward attitude with it

Thanks for moving it, I didnt realise I was in the wrong section untill it said it had to wait for admin approval and I couldnt be bothered to retype it all
I knew if I just waited it would find its way back to where it was ment to be

I personally like this updated layout better then yesterdays previous, but dislike they was the threads look within each section. Past that, much better then yesterday!
