For a couple of weeks now I have had a burning pressure feeling down below. It's fine when I am standing or sitting still but is very painful when I move and turning over in bed really hurts as well.
MW said it's thrush so I was prescribed Canniston and used the pessary Tuesday night and have been using the cream 3 times a day. So far it has not helped at all. Yesterday afternoon I noticed the some of the disolved tablet had come out which I know it normal but also had alot of clear fluid with it, enought to soak through panty liner onto knickers. Today just more creamy discharge but again more than normal.
The pain is not around the opening but is high up on the top and feels more internal.
Is this all normal for thrush? I have never had it before so have no idea what to look for!
Thank you!!!!

doesn't sound like thrush to me hun. i get it a lot but for me it's just burning & itching on the outside (and inside if i attempted sex) and it goes away within a day or two of the pessary, i'd be getting a swab done to check for an infection if it hurts to turn in bed etc xx

Doesn't sound like thrush to me either. I would get it checked out again.

Thank you, it just doesn't feel right at all. My MW checked urine when I saw her early in the week and that was fine but I will give gp a call in the morning if no improvement and see what they say.

I have had continuous thrush throught this pregnancy and every time it is internal and very high up. I do get pain when walking and then when I get home and go to the toilet I have a bout of discharge. Sometimes it is white lotion like but i have had it where it is quite clear and I have had a bout where it had a horrible smell and a yellowish tinge to it and I have been checked for infections but everytime comes back thrush.

I would say sounds like you may have thrush but in regards to the pain like me could be I think related to this as I get a lot of pain in my cervix and I havent had any external thrush symptoms at all. But deffo best to get checked out hun.

xx

Thanks HulaHoop, glad I'm not the only one with these symptoms, was feeling a bit freaky!!
