Nope no teeth, they turn to mush very fast so they're nice and easy to eat. I have to admit I was naughty and it was for lunch The odd one wont hurt though

I agree! I think that I'll let Jessica have one soon. Can I be nosy and ask what your schedule is as far as weaning is concerned? I am currently giving my daughter 29oz of milk over 4 bottles along with a little breakfast and 6 cubes of veg purée for dinner. I am thinking of including lunch soon and lowering the amount of milk she is having, hoping the she will soon drop a bottle. I don't want to over-feed her!

I don't think I can help too much as my LO is BF and BLW (and this is only our 2nd weaning week)...but our schedule is -
First BF about 8-9
Sleep for an hour
BF
Play for an hour ish
Sleep for 30mins
BF
Lunch
BF
Play for an hour ish
Sleep 30 mins- 1.5 hr
BF
Tea
BF
Play for two hours-ish
Sleep with numerous BFs through the night lol

We haven't done breakfast yet as she is too sleepy in the mornings.

some kind of mashed food for dinner (meat, veg and carbs although not always meat) and a fruit pudding

first picture was his first solid food - pineapple, he loves pineapple!

second picture, banana and pineapple, he liked both but had a hard time holding the banana (slippery)

third picture i let him try mashed up banana and toast on a spoon, he really liked this, and had great fun waving the spoon around (banana and toast on the head!)

LO is 6months and 1 day so I started weaning today!!
He had banana which he found a bit too slippery, but he a had a damn good go at it!!

day 2 of BLW (christmas day) and LO had carrot, baby sweetcorn and breadsticks.
For boxing day he had breadsticks and cheese. The cheese made him gag which then made him cry so we stopped.
He also tried to eat the bowl!!
