Pregnancy after mc. I need your help!!

Hello. I've not been on this site since I was pregnant with my son who's almost 2. I had a mc on 20th feb last month and havnt had a period since and ur now just found out I'm pregnant again! I don't know how to work out how far gone I am. Can anyone help? And is there a big chance I can loose my baby again!! Thanks in advance x

I'm not sure if the statistics are higher for someone who has recently miscarried. I don't think they're increased if you weren't that far along previously. At my hospital, they won't do anything different unless you've had at least 2 miscarriages. They weren't going to do anything different for me this time around, but I requested an ultrasound before 12 weeks because I didn't think I could make it that far without seeing the baby and the heartbeat, so he agreed and set one up for me at 7 weeks. Do you know when you ov'd? They will date you basically 2 weeks extra to then.

I.e. if you ov'd 3 weeks ago, you're roughly 5 weeks.

I hope you can get an early scan for reassurance and dating.

Oh and the stats may actually be slightly better after a recent MC with an 80% chance of a good outcome (versus a 75% chance in normal circumstances)
