HI,

I had a mc June/July this year and it dragged on until late July due to my body not letting it all go and ended up after trying ther medication route as I did not want a D&C; ended up having one anyway after about 5 weeks of trying alternative medication and it was a dreadful experience. I missed 5 weeks of my nursing degree and I was told I could not continue after the mc as I had a ton of time of. I had to then find a job which I have done now; but on starting my job on the 8th I found I was pregnant two weeks later and am now at 10 weeks and although excited, some of me carried dread of mc again and things going pear shaped with the new job. I had a scan last week and I was 9 weeks and 3 days and I was able to see it moving around and it looked great; I have a scan booked in for the 6th Jan which is my 12 weeks and I am so anxious about things being wrong. I have had some blood in my urine; but no infection was found on phoning my GP to find out if I had one. My MW didn't seem concerned there was some blood in my urine, but I don't know if this is normal although it seems to come and go. Any advice anyone or reassurance.. Thanks x

It's so hard to say with bleeding - it doesn't always mean one thing or another - you can always ask for a reassurance scan ( no guarentee of getting one I know ) so if you could have that before xmas and not worry so much over the hols.

If the blood is in your urine tho I would keep on at the dr's - could it indicate an issue with your kidneys - surely if they eliminate one possibilty they need to investigate further?

So sorry for your loss and the way your college treated you :hugs:

Congratulations on your BFP! :flower:

The doctor said that no further investigation was needed and I was told that if there was a problem then they would ask me in; it leaves you feeling uncertain though x

I would personally go back and say you are not happy that you are seeing blood in your urine and they can not explain it - yes there's no infection but in that case what is it - sometimes you need to keep pushing and not be fobbed off.....
