Pregnancy and varicose veins

I think the varicose veins look dreadful, my legs are full of squiggly blue black lines like ink has run across them. Any ideas on the best way of easing them off and making them less unsightly? I guess if I am going out, concealer might work, but any ideas that would actually help...please?
