Pregnancy dreams

As you know, a lot of women get crazy vivid pregnancy dreams...and sometimes nightmares. So tell me whats your favorite crazy pregnancy dream.

So far mine has to be from last night.
I had finally went into labor and had a healthy baby boy. Everything was normal except my baby was a very fluffy fly that rode around in my front pocket. None the less. I was proud and showed him off that was until it was bed time and his daddy came home, a larger fluffy fly, and I showed him his new son. Well I thought everything was going well it looked like daddy fly was grooming baby until I looked again and daddy had eaten my babys wings and left him to die.


I was heartbroken and so upset I woke myself up. :/

Hahaha so random!!!

I never normally dream at all, but in both my pregnancies I seem to dream very vivid dreams almost every night. Never any baby / pregnancy dreams though, just random ones.

I had a dream the other night that I was going undercover at a horrible zoo taking photos of animals in squalid conditions and plotting to free them all and release them all back into the wild. It was such an adventure!! I was so excited when I woke up haha, kept telling my husband all about it for days!

I had a very vivid dream about breastfeeding. It felt so real even though this is my first child. I remember staring into my daughter's eyes.

The rest of the dream was just weird including bathing her when she was the size of a small egg surrounded by an egg white-like substance.

I was researching breastfeeding at the time and really craving a fried egg.

I keep having dreams of my stomach being translucent and I can see my unborn baby and sometimes baby can see me and reaches up for my breast wanting to feed but I have to shove baby back down and say no! Or sometimes its bubs limb sticking out from my stomach and I have to push it back in carefully.

Could be counted as a nightmare but I know its just my nerves getting the better of me.

Lol my dreams are all over the place lol. My favorite tho are the ones when I'm in labor and it comes out to be either a boy or girl lol. It always makes me anxious on what I'm going to have.

Helen- I usually get some pretty vivid dreams; pregnancy or not lol. Sounds pretty exciting. Like the time I dreamt the worls ended and I had to lead my family to safety among the war outbreak and surge of demons.

Nikko- Its amazing how what youre learning or looking into leaks into your dreams and subconcious.

Jean- Eek. Not sure how i'd feel about my baby trying to come through my stomach but the translucent belly seems neat.



I had an aweful nightmare the night before. I was at a friends house when I went to the restroom and started bleeding everywhere. Panicing I went to run out and get help when I saw my reflection in the mirror and my face distorted into this terrible demonic face. Needless to say I woke up quickly and SO had to snuggle me before I went back to sleep. Too many horror films I guess. XP

Oh, sheesh. Lol My fuzzy fly one was the first I had that said anything about gender. Usually I just know ive had my baby but I never see it or say a name so baby remains a mystery and it kills me. I gots to know, lol.

I have ridiculous dreams anyway, but they've been even more insane since I got preg!

My favorite one so far was... DH and I were coming to pick up our child, who looked like he was about 5 from a camp(a boy in the dream but we don't know what it is yet, I'm a bit over 14 weeks now), and he had somehow taken over the camp and had an obsession with haggling. Everything had to be haggled for or traded in some way, so to get him to come with us we had to trade 10 pinecones and 3 silver dollars (? lol) to get him to come with us. On our way out he was making deals and shaking hands with people, but we got stopped as we arrived at our car by the CIA, who informed us they knew that were were a family of mutants and we had to come with them. Then we fought the CIA with our powers and escaped.

...X-Men Days of Future Past + baby dream = hilarious.

Cant go wrong with super powers....well you can but it just seems like fun!

I have had gender dreams lately.

First being Hubby and I are in bed and I hear someone coming up the stairs so I freak out and try to wake my husband up but he won't wake up for anything. Then these two guys walk in my room and say "We aren't here to hurt you we just want you to know that you have barbie dolls left out on your lawn"..."I remember thinking to myself..."How many times have I told her to clean up her dolls"...then we all go outside and look and there are little girls everywhere playing with barbie dolls...I look at them and say "There are too many girls in this neighborhood and then they giggle and skip off."

The next night I had a dream that there were a bunch of little boys with guns lined up outside my window and I remember being terrified that they had guns at that young. But nothing exciting happened with that one.

Guess it's all that has been on mind lately. We got the gender from the ultrasound yesterday but we won't know until Saturday at the reveal party.

Finally got a sweet baby dream.

SO and I were going to the hospital for our next drs appointment and right outside there was this huge u/s machines. It had a pricing list about how many minutes and pictures you get for what amount. And out of curiosity we dug up 21 cents (for a five minute view and one photo) and I wiggled the wand around my lower abdomen until I saw my baby. Super wiggly and a girl! I was so excited.

Before I knew I was pregnant, I dreamed that I was abducted by aliens. They implanted a baby into my stomach, waved a piece of cloth over me, told me telepathically that I was having a boy, and then sent me back home. It sounds like a nightmare but it was actually kind of a fun dream. Lol. Weird, but fun.

Oh, and there's always the one from a few weeks ago where I was a warrior princess with a bad ass sword defending my village from shadow people.

All my dreams have been crazy vivid and real feeling! My fave so far was a dream where I was at a childhood friend's house and I had this urgent feeling walking up to the house and I looked down and realized I had a gun in my hand. I turned around and there were zombies coming up the hill so I ran inside and discovered the house full of people I knew who were terrified of the zombies. The next thing the zombies were at the back door and i was excited about killing them and told someone to let them in and I will protect them!
I was shooting each one with 100% accuracy in the head and even managed to convince an overweight man not to commit suicide during this whole ordeal!
I have to admit, I love dreaming about zombies and am a huge fan of the Walking Dead but i woke from this particular dream feeling buzzed and energized hahahaha
