Pregnant after coil removal - dating query.

So I had my coil removed on the 9th September. I had it in for 2 and a half years and did not have any periods.

I didn't have any bleeding post removal and my period did not show up. When I did a test yesterday it was positive!

So how do I date my pregnancy? I can't count from the date of my last period as I didn't have one!

If you don't know when you ovulated you wait for a scan. Doc will probably send you for an early scan, or maybe they will use the 9th Sep as a kind of LMP.

When I got pregnant with DS I hadn't had a period since before I got pregnant with DD who was 12 months at the time. I knew my ovulation date, but they wanted to arrange an early scan.
