pregnant after mmc

hi there ladies i had 2 miscarriages one in feb 2008 and sept 2008 first at 6 weeks 2nd one come on few days after getting the bfp well on friday i was 4 days late for af did a cb digital and within seconds pregant come up then 2-3weeks i was lost for words for once
hubby had 2 sperm test done one come back bad other one was good we was due to go to a fertillity doctors 6thy july so this is the 3rd time i have fallen pregnant since my mmc in 2008 so my body has had nearly 2 years to repair its self and heal just hope our little bean sticks i am scared and worried but also excited i am not going to get my self down as its not good for me and its out my hands what will be will be PMA so i just wanted to see if any of you ladies have the same sort of story to me xxxxxxxxxxx

Congratulations on your bfp, you must be delighted. I know how scary it is particularly in the early weeks. I had an mmc in January this year at just under 10 weeks. It was a horrible experiance one that I hope I never have to go through again. PMA is the best thing you can do if you can, I also tried to be realistic and be prepared for the worst case senario. I needed to do this just incase. I found that I couldn't attach myself to this pregnancy until I went for my first scan.

I kept giving myself milestones to work towards which really helped.

Congratulations Using milestones as Bexyboop advises really does help.

I found getting past the point of prev mc really was the biggest one for me, and an early scan seeing the hb has helped too.

Enjoy all the moments that you aren't worrying ( you do get some of those too )

Yep small milestones are a real help. Getting past MMC date, early scan, 12 week scan

Also like Bexyboop I didnt really bond with this baby until after the 12 week scan although the 8 week one did help put my mind at ease because although my MMC dates were 9 and 11 weeks the actual mc dates were 6 weeks. But I noticed DH and I referred to "the pregnancy" and not to the "baby" until after the 12 week scan. So if that happens to you its perfectly normal -in fact its a self defence mechanism - so dont worry about it

It is true that things are out of our hands for the most part. As long as we stay healthy in body and mind, we're doing what we can. Everything else is out of our control. I agree with the other ladies about milestones. I'm anxious to get past my first scan. That is my first milestone. I also agree about not attaching. My husband keeps trying to, but I won't let him. I'm not mentally ready to attach to this bean yet. I can't wait until I do though! Welcome, welcome to you. You deserve this and I hope everything goes well for you.

hey mate i no i am trying to be potives but its does get me down my boobs been really sore but today they are not to bad so was worrying incase hormone have dropped think its cos i am used to the pain and i am watchingout for every symptom which i should not do but cannot help it lol i wont be calm untill i see heart beating away just had a de caff tea and fill sick as a pig just hope we get to meet put lillte baby at the end of this i dont think i could go through another mmc its taken me 2 years to fall again please stick have you got many symptons i was told we wont notice to many untill around 6 weeks as 2-4 weeks its getting snuggled in ya womb not sure if this is right but i got doctors tomorrow so ill get him to test to i did cb and tesco cheapie both come up within seconds which i am guessing is good xxxxxxxx

i have done 3 test one friday cbd 2-3 weeks on saturday tesco cheapie come up clear as day and cbd today sunday and 2-3 weeks got doctors tomorrow i have to keep testing lol as still dont seem real please hang in there my baby xxxx

I don't have many symptoms, just sore boobs on and off. I had some mild cramping very early on, but I don't have that any more. I'm having trouble sleeping. That's about it. I never felt nausea until I was 6-7 weeks, so I'm not worried about that. And I have to remember that even though I had lots of symptoms the last 2 times, I still didn't have a healthy baby. I know it is hard, but try not to stress too much about your lack of symptoms. They really don't mean much. There are lots of threads by women who have had healthy babies and never had any symptoms. It's good that you are seeing your doctor tomorrow. Are you getting a scan? It will be too early to see anything. You should try to book an early scan just to ease your nerves a bit.

hi went doctors i am 4 weeks 5 days baby due 4th of march 2011 i got all my paper work and i got midwife 28th 9.45 am i have early scan booked for saturday 31st of july 9.15am just hope its good news nothing much to report had little lower back ache today doctors says is normal as its all my liagents sorting them selfs out i woke up early this morning rolled over oh my god my boobs killed not to bad at the mo feeling tired and also having werid fucked up dreams labout lions in the sub way and me and hubby nearly getting eaten glad he had some meat in his pocket lol xxxxx

They all sound like promising symptoms. I think you have your weeks and days mixed up. I'm also due on March 4 and I'm 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant today. If you are due March 4, you are a little further along than you think!

i did think that cos when i worked it out i got march the 11th at 4wks 5days and she worked it out on her computer ill ask midwife when i see her x x x

well had phone call this morning from scan unit at basildon they will scan me early as doctors said they prob wont as they can be gits for it so any way me and hubby booked a private one for the 31st july and as ill be 8wks 3 days but i have also been booked in for next friday 16th july 9.50 am so i am extra extra happy with that ill be 6wks 2 days so hopefully see hb wish me luck girls nothing else to really report sore boobs they are killing and really really tired today and very hungry xxxx
