I would love to hear from any expectant Mums who have done some good research on fitness regimes through pregnancy. In the 6 months before I got pregnant I went from very fit to not fit at all because of a change in job, stress, work hours etc. I hadn't expected to fall pregnant so quickly which is a blessing I know. The problem is I haven't prepped my body at all. I am back in the gym now doing things like yoga, swimming, the elliptical trainer and other cardio machines. I think it's important for me to get my body strong enough to carry the pregnancy, especially because I am having twins (early days but hopeful). I would even like to lose a little weight as I am half a stone over a healthy BMI. I have been eating highly nutritiously, lots of nutrient dense, calories moderate to low foods and yet I have still managed to put on a few pounds. I don't want to focus on my weight or restrict my diet below what is safe. Anyone else experienced the same issues?
