Pregnant & on the pill?!

Hello,


My doctor put me on the pill this week to try and regulate my cycle.
However today I found out I'm actually pregnant!

so my question is ... when I stop taking the pill , will I still get a withdrawal/breakthrough bleed & can it be dangerous for the baby?

Stop taking the pill and ring the docs on Monday, it shouldn't affect the baby as many people fall pregnant on the pill and carry on taking it

I was conceived on the pill and my mother didn't find out she was pregnant until 6 months. And I had no health problems. But it's probably a good idea to stop taking it right away. X

Depends, if it is triphasic, probably not as the hormones increase each week. But definitely inform your doctor! I'm surprised they had you start it before getting AF. When I went on the pill, I had to wait for AF and then take them so that the transition was smoother.
