pregnant while iud?

I've had an iud for over two months now, in the beginning I lost much blood, had 2 heavy periods and now I'm one week late. I've had heavy period cramps and am nauseated for a week now and have the same kind of lower back ache I had when I was pregnant. And since five days I'm spotting. Not much, just a little light red colored cm twice a day when I wipe. Each day I think 'today my period is certainly coming' but it doesn't seem to hurry.
I did a pregnancy test this morning and I think it's negative.
Anyone have had any similar experiences?

When I had my iud I did not have a period at all so it could be normal. If test was negative I would sayits probably pretty accurate. Keep checking every couple of days bc if u r then u will need immediate medical attention

It is actually pretty normal not to have your period while on a IUD, but is also possible to get pregnant while on it as well. If you are a week late however and the test is saying negative I would trust it. Maybe take one more in two days just to make sure but really this is normal.
