Hi
I'm only 11 weeks ... I just felt baby move. The books say it's not possible ?
Wondered if it is when it's your second??
Anyone else experienced this early on?
Thanks
A43 xx

I know most people would ridicule me for this, but I'm sure about what I felt.

I felt my 4 babies at 14 weeks, 13 weeks, 9 weeks and 12 weeks. The 9-week one happened because my uterus was stretched out of my pelvic bones (due to problems before the pregnancy), the baby implanted right next to my tummy inside the uterus (with the placenta far up and away towards the back), my uterine wall seem to be easily prone to thinning, and I am an extremely short and underweight, tiny person. I don't mention this allot because I know nobody would believe me. I know what I felt because I felt it while looking at a sonar of my moving bean as well.

Enjoy the movement! :flower:

I didn't feel my 2nd until almost 21 weeks which was so weird b/c #1 was at 16 weeks!

But I have heard most women pay better attention than I do, lol

Number 1, 18 weeks. Number 2... 24 weeks!! And its not even like I was over weight which can restrict feeling. Xx

10 weeks...people will tell you it's not possible but I know what I felt xx

I felt My first at 18 weeks. My second I felt at 12 weeks! People try to say it is gas I was feeling but I know it wasn't. With the second I hear you are more intune with your body and can sense it sooner.

Def 12 weeks, even though people were trying to tell me it was too soon! Xxx

I felt number 1 at about 16 wks, number 2 at 10ish weeks and number 3 at about 12 wks so I definitely believe its possible :-) xx

I felt my baby at 13 weeks and people didn't believe and told me it is rubbish until I went for my 14 week checkup and told the gynae what I felt and where. She immediately then did the ultrasound on that spot and guess?? We saw bubba kicked. So, yes. you can feel them very early on.

Found it with doppler just past 9 weeks or so, felt it move around 10 weeks, and it was confirmed when I felt it and heard it with doppler together a few days later.

I could feel baby move from the outside by putting hand on my tummy from 12 weeks

I was very surprised too as I did not feel my first baby move til 19 weeks:flower:

10 weeks and you could feel kicks from the outside at 16 weeks! I was lay on the table waiting for my consultant at 16 weeks to scan me, DH was looking at my belly and asked if I'd just been kicked and I had, he saw it! I then pressed where it was and could feel it and then the consultant got kicked too so there was no mistaking it!!!! Xx

First baby was about 24 weeks, but I was overweight. 2nd was 14 weeks :)

first baby I know now I could feel from 10 weeks, but didn't know it was that. Same things felt with second at 9 weeks and I knew what it was that time lol :haha:

Wow I must be dense, how come it took me 21 weeks? LOL.

Aliss - I think I've read that you work out, and that makes your muscles more toned and can make it harder to feel things. I on the other hand am flabby as they come and haven't seen the inside of a gym for years :haha::blush: Take it as a compliment my love! xx

P.s. Congrats on your LO. He's gorgeous!! xx

Hah thanks! Sadly my abs are a thing of the past, I've got a 4 finger gap diastasis :( Oh well, one day

First - 13 weeks (surprised the shit outta me considering I'm fat so wasn't expecting to feel anything for AGES). Was lying down and it felt like if you'd put your cheek to a glass of fizzy pop and could feel the bubbles ever so faintly tapping your cheek - but inside.

Second - about 15-16 weeks - totally bucking the "feel second faster" theory. On scans though number 1 is arms and legs everywhere, ball of wriggle, number 2 is just one that lies there kicking their legs a bit and sucking their thumb (god I hope this carries through after birth - baby number 1 is a very easy baby - going by the scans baby number 2 is going to be permanently horizontal!)

I felt no. 2 when I was 15 weeks, was quite surprised cos at my 20 weeks scan I was told I had an anterior placenta.

1st baby I had an anterior placenta and so I felt my first nudge at 18 weeks. Wasn't until 24 weeks before I was feeling proper kicks and my husband could feel them.
2nd baby my placenta is right at the very top and I felt movement at 10/11 weeks! Husband felt kicks at 17 weeks.
