I had been on the dot every day for 3 months at 6:30am taking my prenatal vitamins. Well, this month I don't have the money to restock as the transmission on our car blew and we need to save every penny we can. AF is not due until at least the 13th but already getting serious AF cramps now and every AF symptom in the book. Has anyone ever been through this? Is me going off the prenatal making my AF come early or is it just a coincidence?

I think when you take some of those vitamins they help your body naturally create progesterone which calms pms, relaxes your muscles and lets you sleep better. Could very easily delay AF too.

PregVit is one of the only ones in Canada covered by prescriptions, do you have healthcare coverage? It's actually a decent little prenatal too, they split the iron and calcium (it's a 2 pill/day deal). Otherwise when Fe+Ca are taken together they just bind together, you can't absorb it so you poop it out and it constipates the heck out of some ppl.
Sorry to hear about the transmission:wacko:

Thanks 2have4kids! Dad sent me more than we needed for the transmission so I was able to stack up. Still gonna be a pretty strong AF but glad to be back on prenatal train. I'm a creature of habbit and for a week not having the pill in the morning screwed me up. I'm taking the Centrum prenatals. Best one recommended by doctors here in Quebec so far. Love them, only thing I wish were that they weren't horse pills lol
