The reccomendation is to start taking at least folic acid 3 months before you start TTC. I'm going to start TTC at the end of June and I started taking Rainbow Light Just Once prenatals about a month ago. I'm also going to start taking a DHA supplement soon... I couldn't find anything saying how early you should start that or if you just wait until your pregnant, so I figured about a month ahead should be safe.
