Private scan at 8w4d

I have had enough worrying and cannot possibly wait another 6 weeks to find out if our little bean is ok so today I booked a private scan for 14th Dec. It was £69 so I am justifying it as an early christmas present to DH and I

At least I will be able to relax and enjoy our last christmas as a family of three if everything is alright. Fingers crossed it is!!

Has anyone else had a scan at 8 weeks? What can I expect to see?

Good luck! With my DS we had a scan at about 8+3 I think - he looked like a little gummy bear, with a heart beat

I had one at just over 9 weeks and could see arm and leg buds, head and heartbeat xx

I had a scan for spotting at 8 weeks and that showed a baby 7 + 5 and my pic is on my avatar. Good luck x
