my dating scan is due when I am 11 weeks pregnant, but i just feel that is such a long time to wait. 5 whole weeks! So I looked into private scans and I noticed in Perth, Scotland they do early scans for just £25. That seems a bargain really.
So what week would be best do you think? I am 6 weeks just now. I think I would love to have my scan next week!!!

I had my first scan at 7weeks hun and they could detect the heartbeat then, so its entirely up to you... I would say from 7weeks on they should be able to detect how viable a pregnancy is! good luck! x

I paid for an early private scan as I my dating scan was booked for when I would have been 14 weeks, I couldn't wait that long! Was really great and very reassuring.

Cost me £90 so for £25 I would say def go for it xx
