Ok I don't really know what I have, as just had a very confusing phone call from the hospital. They called to say that there is an abnormality in my blood tests with one of the hormones, and that this hormone can cause a problem with the placenta.
Unfortunately I was holding a screaming Sofia when they called and was just so taken aback I didn't really ask the right questions. When I phoned back half an hour later they'd gone home. I was just hoping someone might have heard something...
The Dr said that they wouldn't be able to tell until they can check the placenta, which won't be visible for another 2 weeks but I can come in to discuss it before if I like. Hoping the blasé attitude means it's not something to worry about, but obviously I am worrying at home alone
