Hi im on my second cycle of clomid (50mg) and just got the results of my day21 progesterone level which was 97. last month I had a level of 83 which ended in bfn. ive also tested this month and still bfn. I'm just curious to find out people levels of progesterone on clomid when they got their bfps!

I had 60 on an iui cycle and 87 on an ivf cycle that got bfp....I had 107 ona bfn cycle...

It used to drive me mad thinking it indicated something but it doesn't always..

Best of luck & I hope you get your bfp x

Hi loopops. I don't think the difference matters, it'll just depend on your own body and also where it happens to be when they do the test, its not an exact science so just be glad you're ovulating and just wait for that bfp! X

just a wee update....got my bfp! progesterone was 140 on cd21 so the sister hinted there is a chance of multiples with such a high reading...eek!.scan 3 weeks to check....

Hello!
i did my first cycle of clomid 50 mg, my previous CD 21 progesterone was 11.4, but this cycle it was 19.6, which the dr's assistant said was good :happydance: Ive been testing early, watching my trigger positives which started out fairly dark on cheapies, and then faded, but then picked back up on 10 dpo, and well, they were darker 11 dpo too! So im crossing my fingers that this is it, keeping calm to be cautious... but as far as i know, the progesterone cd 21 tells them that you ovulated if its over a certain number, (possibly 10? maybe lower, im not sure)

keeping my fingers crossed for you! :flower:

I had readings of over 100 on Clomid and they were all bfn. I got my BFP in a natural cycle and at 10dpo my progesterone was around 75.

Don't forget we have different units of measuring progesterone in the Uk versus the US. To convert US units into UK ones you need to multiply them by 3.

But in general I don't think high numbers mean much. Anything over 30 (UK units) confirms ovulation. After a BFP progesterone should keep rising and if it doesn't you may need supplements. But it can be nice and high but still bfn

Lots of :dust: though!
