progesterone shots, please help

Anyone else getting progesterone shots? I am every week and im dying of pain they hurt so much, is this normal, should it hurt at all.?

I started getting 17P shots once weekly at 17 weeks, and they ended at 36 weeks. They do hurt quite a bit, my stop would always become hard, red, sore, couldnt lay on it for a few days. Its normal but if it persists talk to your doctor about what you can do to reduce swelling, etc. Icepacks help too!

Yes I will have them until 36 weeks, but this pain is horrible, it lasts like 3 to 4 days, I wish I didn't hurt so much.

Tell me about it! Made me want to give them up many many times!
