Is there anyone else out there on the Prgesterone Supplements that is noticing mildly discolored discahrge? Mine is normally white, but there are occasions where it looks brownish/ orange. I cant figure out if it is something to be worried about or not.....?

I go in for my scan this Wednsday and am just praying that these supplements are doing the trick and my little one is there with a strong heartbeat! But the discharge has me a bit concerned. Just curious if anyone else has experianced this?

I'm on cyclogest and I have a creamy discharge . My pee is bright yellow due to folic acid suplements x

I am on cyclogest too and haven't noticed any discolouration really. Sure it is nothing to worry about!

I have just cut down from 400mg to 200mg for weeks 12-14, have had really awful headaches, anyone else had this? Also when are you all stopping taking it and are you cutting down to a similar dosage?

Have my scan on Thursday - just pray everything is okay x

I'm on 100 mg suppositories. I haven't experiences any different colored discharge. I had a scan last week at 6+4 and everything was great even though my progesterone still wasn't where they wanted it. They raised me from 50mg to 100 then. Have another scan tomorrow, they're watching close because I had a loss in January. Good luck on everyone's scans!! Made me feel soooo much better to see that little bean and the heartbeat flicker. :)

I'm on 200mg and will take untill 12 weeks . I've had a bad headache today . Are you all spotty and bloated due to extra progesterone ? X

Yes I am feeling bloated.. I have not suffered from headaches at all. But bloating and some mild discolaration here and there with the suppositories. I have to stay on these until I hit 12 weeks and man does it get exhosting. Dont get me wrong I am grateful that they have these and they can be making a huge difference in my babies life but I wish that I didnt have to sometimes. Praying for positive results for all of you including myself.... Just think.... once those little peanuts are here how worth all of this bloating and uncomfortableness will be!

The colored discharge is completely normal with vaginal progesterone supplements. Google "crinone discharge color" and you will certainly see more than your fair share of testimonials. Mine is usually either white or yellowish orange but I've had light pink mixed in (that was scary) and yes, definitely brown. After awhile, it gets brownish grey and that part is really gross. I've read about a lot of ladies having purple...thankfully I read that before I experienced my own purple crinone once. Yuck!

Totally normal. Mine was usually white, but sometimes would be yellow/orange/brownish, and everything was normal.

I am getting tired of this routine too, but of course very thankful for them. I love how they act like it's no big deal for me to lay down with my hips raised for 30 min twice a day...night time is no biggie, but with a 2 and 4 year old all hell breaks loose when I do my morning suppository! ;)

Strange....I was specifically told by my doctor to do it in the morning and then walk around as walking around helps the progesterone cream spread and apply better. Are you on crinone or cyclogest?

Mine just says "progesterone 100mg vag supp" and has to be compounded by a pharmacist. Not really sure of the differences? They told me to do one in the morning and one in the evening and lay down with my hips raised for at least 30 min after. Never ceases to amaze me the different advice we're all given from one provider to the next. That is strange.

What was everyone else told?

I wasn't told much by the doctor who wrote the prescription, but between the instructions that came with the suppositories and Dr. Google, I decided to insert one vaginally once I'm in bed at night, and then I take my morning dose rectally. By inserting it rectally, it doesn't leak out at all, so I don't have to worry that I'm up and moving about, and from what I've read online, it's close enough to the uterus to get the hormones where they need to go.

I take endometrin vaginally and have the nastiest white discharge which looks like half dissolved endometrin tablets. I googled it before I started taking it and EVERYONE complained about it so I knew to expect it and that it was normal.

I was also on endometrin when i was pregnant with DD. I was on 100mg a day so I would put it in at night. But nasty nasty discharge. I forgot to put a panty liner in my underwear once or twice, and I regretted it:haha: it also caused some spotting and scared the sh*t out of me, mainly because my 2 MC's started with spotting. But I'm glad I took it!!

Its the worst!
I have been in situations where I couldnt replace the panty liner and its just so nasty and I have to do it twice a day so it comes out all the time. I have some spotting too. I dont know if its the SCH or the endometrin anymore and honestly, I dont even care. I have tuned out all the spotting. If I start to really bleed heavily I will obviously get concerned but I have had so much blood with this pregnancy that I am just happy its holding steady at spotting and in a couple of weeks I will be off the endometrin.

BTW: I LOVE the name Zoe! If we have a little girl we are naming her Zoe.

I am so greatful for all you ladies.. I am not alone! lol I hate the discharge.. it is gross.... but I am 8 weeks I think, it will be hopefully confirmed tomorrow so if that is the case I only have 4 more weeks of this!

I am in 200mg twice daily and take it rectally which has been much better, I will be glad to finish them though :)
