Hi ladies,
I was recently diagnosed with neurally mediated syncope (NMS) - which, to put a long story short, means I by body can go into stress and I faint without reason - and today my cardiologist has prescribed me propranolol.
It is listed as a 'category C' drug for pregnancy which are drugs that have not been shown to be harmful to fetuses, although there is limited human trial results. I have been told that there is no issue with me continuing with the drug during the early stages and that I will be gradually be weaned off it in the third trimester.
I was just hoping to here if anyone here has had any experience with propranolol during pregnancy or knows anyone that has.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
