Here's a quick background: Was diagnosed with PCOS in Feb and put on Metformin to regulate my cycles. Cycles used to be 25-35 days. I'm currently on CD77!
Went to see my OBGYN today and asked why the Metformin is causing such a long cycle. He said it's just coincidence since the Metformin is supposed to regulate and shorten cycles. I asked him if it's possible I'm pregnant but he said no because the urine test came back neg. He wants me to start Provera but I'm not convinced I'm not pregnant because I've read a lot of stories on here about women who get neg urine tests but pos blood tests. I just read that Provera can harm an unborn baby so should I get a blood test to confirm I'm not pregnant?? Need advice please!
