So I've been exercising trying to lose the last of the baby pounds (and a few more) and things have been going fine for the last three weeks (I started working out at 9 weeks postpartum) but I started hurting doing certain exercises 3 days ago. Lunges and things like that have been hurting in my pubic/pelvic region. From what I've read it's SPD...but can that START 2+ months postpartum? This was my third pregnancy and I've never had any experience with it. Had a straight forward pregnancy. A medium ish length labor, but my water broke at 6-7 cm and my daughter was born 8 minutes labor, so the end part was super fast. I lost a lot of blood but didn't have any pelvic pain afterwards (well, at least not in this area). Besides stop doing the exercises that work is there anything I should be doing? I have 3 small children so running to the doctor 40 minutes away isn't practical unless it gets worse. The pain lingers and comes and goes the next day, so it's not terrible, but annoying.

STOP!!!!! I mean stop exercising!!!! Lol I have this exact same thing. Started working out at 6 week post. Everything was fine until 9 weeks and my public bones hurt sooooooo much!!!! I went to the doctor and she referred me to a pelvic floor specialist. And If u have any pain from excesizing you must stop and see a pelvic floor specialist! You most likely have week muscles down there not supporting anything right and when you workout it tightens everything up down there which causes pain. If you continue too do it and have pain you can damage yourself forever. Which is the words of my specialist and possibly urine incontence when your older. Something too do with ur pelvic muscles being weak because if your working out and it hurts that's means they are weak! Lunges is the worst by the way and it was the last exercise I did before I went to see a doctor as I was in severe pain. It's also the worst possible exercise for pelvic floor issues and crunches is a big no no! I'm 3 months post pregnancy and thank god I lost all the baby weight because I'm banned from doing exercises and now I'm doing pelvic floor stuff the specialist gave me. Pls look into seeing one !before it's too lake because it's very hard too reverse it if you wait too long
