Q about OPKs

I have just taken one and it came out positive. Can they still be positive if you ovulated a few days earlier? Just clutching at straws a bit

Not normally they say you peak before and then ovulate 12-36 hours after the peak. Normally your negative by the time you ovulate. xxx
