how did your older child react to it ?..............................

I think Ella will be ok to be honest as she's little miss independant and she entertains herself most of the time she's never been clingy just likes the odd cuddles with mummy which of course she will still have that whenever she wants.

Im just curious as to the general reaction..........it must be strange for them at first to see there new baby brother or sister breastfeeding. I just hope she doesnt feel put out by the fact that I will be spending alot of time with the baby as breastfeeding can be time consuming! Im hoping we can all have cuddles together rather than her getting jelous and upset.

xxxxxx

Im breastfeeding Kieran and Nathan dosen't really seem to take much notice lol

He will come over now and again for a quick look but will then just go off and play with his toys again. He will climb up on the settee sometimes while im feeding Kieran and ask for a kiss and cuddle which I give him then he will go off and play again :)

I was expecting him to get jelous aswell but he dosen't seem all that interested really.

Rhys will sometimes be totally ok and when ffion crys he will even lift up my top as if to say 'c'mon mummy get your boobs out!'

but then other times he'll stand and scream!

depends how tired he is really

Kieran wasn't that bothered then again he was a little younger then your LO, i'm sure she'll be fine x

That's so cute

I was wondering about this for my next one, as I seem to spend my life breastfeeding! x

My daughter was 18 months old when my son was born. A few weeks after he was born and after seeing me breastfeed, I caught her with her top up and a doll against her chest. It was cute.

My daughter understands now and I am sure my son does too. However, my son is a booby boy and I can see him telling everyone in his kindergarten class in September. LOL
