Hi eveyrone,
I took a FRER Gold last night and it came up as error. I was so mad as it was the only test in my house. I, being the POASaholic that I am, took it apart and found that the test line was super dark pink and the control line was also pink. Now I know that you're not supposed to rely on the lines in a digi, but here's my thinking.
*The way the digi works is by a special reader reading into the actual color of the line. So wouldn't it be a good sign that my test line was so dark?
*It's speculated that the 2nd line that appears on digis is measuring LH, which would be the same as an OPK, which again, people speculate that these strips are in fact OPK strips. So there's the phenomonon that people can use OPK's as HPT's because of LH and HCG being similar. So if you used this strip as an OPK, it would be positive because the test line is darker than the control line. So if you were using it as an HPT, that would be +.
I know I'm WAY overanalyzing this, but I can't go get a new test till tonight, so I'm doing all my obsessing over the internet. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated! And I'd love to see pics of the inside of a digi if anyone has one!
