I'll be FF once LO is here. I know you are not supposed to warm your bottles in the microwave, but could you warm a bowl of water in the microwave and then (outside of microwave) put the bottle in THAT hot water instead of boiled water??

It takes forever for water to boil on my stove, so I'm just trying to think of ways to speed up the bottle warming process.

Do you mean use the water in the bowl to warm the bottle up? If so, then yes that would be fine. The reason you shouldn't put bottles in the microwave is because they may not heat up evenly and there may be hotspots that could burn LO.

Tbh, I microwave Luke's bottles, I just make sure I shake it REALLLLY well before he has it and bingo!

i microwave Harrisons bottles, just make sure you give them a really good shake after. Otherwise buy a bottle warmer? X

bathbabe, I found that using a bottle warmer was slower than just boiling the kettle and popping the bottle in water from that.

OP if you dont want to microwave, can you not use a kettle to heat the water? xx
