I expressed a bottle of milk this morning (well it more leaked) and stuck it in the fridge. We then took it out in a cool bag round town for a couple of hours but he didn't need it so it's back in the fridge. Can I now freeze it or does it have to be frozen immediately?

It needs using within an hour if its not being stored at a constant temp. :)

If it were me (I HATE to waste valuable EBM!) if you have a situation like that where you kept it nice and cool but didnt use it, I'd give to him it when you got home or at the next feed if it werent more than 6 hours out of the fridge. Dont put it back in the fridge just keep it in the cool bag till you need it but dont freeze it ;)

does that make sense?
