Hi ladies! I'm 35 and TTC #3. Ever since having #2 my PMS had been out of control. I have the worst ovulation pain, and then starting the very next day an awful lower back ache starts in. And continues off and on for the 2 weeks up till AF shows. I'll also have awful mood swings and some cramping.

With my other two pregnancies I had no symptoms in the TWW at all, and I assume that's what it will be like if we are able to conceive #3.Anyways, every cycle after I ovulate I get so bummed when my back ache starts up -- I feel like it's a sign that my period is on the way. Like right off the bat I don't even get a chance to hope for a BFP.

So my question to you, for those ladies with one or more kids, did your early tww pregnancy symptoms ever change from your first pregnancy, to the point you would swear af was on her way - only to get a bfp? Thanks for the help!

Yep! I only have 2 kids, but with the first one, I had absolutely no symptoms or signs that made me think I was pregnant, like you.

Then, I had a very early mc and I can't remember what my symptoms were at that time, but I don't remember any AF-like symptoms. Maybe my boobs were sore, but I just can't remember. Nothing huge.

With my third pregnancy (second child born), I started getting really strong cramps and backache just like AF, and swore she was coming. But the thing that had me confused was those cramps started so soon...long before AF would be due. But they were so strong I had to take Tylenol and use a heating pad. My sister (who has been pregnant 8 times) said the thing that always tipped her off that she was pregnant were those menstrual cramp feelings soon after ovulation. It's like your body has been there, done that and is earlier to respond to what's going on in there!

Hope that helps. Wish you the best!

For both of my pregnancies it felt like AF was coming and I got implantation cramps that I thought was AF for both. With my second I got midcycle spotting and I never spot. Each pregnancy can be very different so it's definitely possible that your symptoms may change.

Ladies! Thank you for your replies! They make me feel a lot better!

Definitely the more pregnancies I've had the worse cramping I get and I was told its normal and it's the uterus that's doing it.
