Question for those who've tried PreSeed...

I just got my preseed in the mail today! I won't be able to use it til my next cycle after this unfortunately but have a few questions.

Is it pretty obvious to tell that its in there? TMI- but if OH goes down on you (mine always does before intercourse) will he taste it or notice a huge difference? Will that cause any issues?

I just have this thought in my head that it'll all come out in one big glob or something. haha.

Since we started trying, we haven't had as much oral sex because saliva can kill sperm. I'm not sure if it has a taste to it. I've never had it come out in a glob or anything. I usually put it in at least 10 minutes before we start BDing.

You're welcome. That's why it's good to use a sperm friendly lubricant and not saliva as a lubricant when TTC.

he defnitly will taste it and smell it. It is very obvious you should put it in when hes done doing the oral

Yep, I agree with the above, he'll definitely taste it. To be honest, I've never thought to try to taste it, but I doubt it's great. I think it does have a pleasant odor though. I'd definitely recommend putting it in after oral sex. It should still be fine for him to go down on you since that probably wouldn't result in an saliva getting near your cervix anyway to interfere with the sperm. But any of the sperm friendly lubes can be a bit messy and watery once they hit the heat of your body, so if you put it in before oral sex, it would probably just drip right back out anyway. It is nice to use though and it helped get us our BFP on our 2nd month (1st real month of trying after BC/natural AF).

Hi Ladies,

I will be trying preseed for the first time soon waiting on my package to turn up. I also have a 25 day ovulation tester. Is there anything I should know on how to use it the best or is the packaging got what I need?

We use it but I can't say much about taste! You might want to try other forms of foreplay other than oral because, as mention before, saliva kills sperm so it's a little counter productive!

We use it but if I put in more than 1g my DH complains there's not as much good friction (sorry TMI)!! So I would suggest trial and error with the amount and, yeah, pop it in after oral might be better for your OH! Happy bding and to you!!!

I usually use a half gram to 1 gram. Anything more than that was too much for us!
