me and oh have been tcc since April, so almost 6months. I don't temp because I don't know how really . He said to me last night.. Hurry up and make a doc appoint for both of us coz I don't want to wait anymore. Which I think is sweet

Any way I've heard in Australia, I don't know if it's different in other country's that doctors don't do anything till u are 1full year of trying. we both want this child more than anything so I wanna go to the docs. But I don't want to look like an idiot for going to early.
what have your doctors told u? wait a year? or come in at 6months? also did any one get useful advice from their doc?
I think I might have to try fertility freind I'm just a bit clueless that's all.

I think it varies depending on the situation. I mean, if you're irregular, or if you tracked you cycle and found that you weren't ovulating, then they might start looking into things sooner. Or if there are other health circumstances, or medicines that could affect you or your DH, they might sooner.

They generally say one year of trying bc even for healthy adults with no issues, there's only a 20-25% each month of getting preg, and most wil be get preg within the first year.

If you don't already, I would consider using OPK's or at least tracking you CM to get a better understanding of where you are. Many woman find that once they do, they were ovulating days earlier or later than they thought, and thus not bd'ing at the right time at all.

My doc wanted to start fertility meds if we had not conceived by 6months b/c of my age. Will be 35 this year. She first did an ultrasound and said if that was clean then we would start with pills to help ovulate.

I'm 27 and oh is 36 I don't temp but this month I will start. I have always been very irregular like a week late or a week and a half late a couple of days early if u get my drift.I may be a liitle dense asking this but do u have to temp to use opks? Or do u just use them roughly day 13 or 14 in to ur cycle? Just not sure

Maybe i'l get a little diary a baby making diary that I rewrite everything in, temps opk results etc...
