Hey all,
I recently posted because I was on my first cycle supplementing with progesterone. Unfortunately I didn’t get pregnant that cycle.
I am now one unsuccessful cycle away from being prescribed Femara. My understanding is that it’s generally prescribed for women who either have pcos or are not ovulating regularly.
Based on my opks, ovulation pain, and ultrasounds I’m ovulating regularly around cd 15 each month. Af shows up 13 days later (15 days later this month with the progesterone).
I’m going in for blood work this month on cd 5. I was supposed to get it done a while ago but I got pregnant twice in a row (both ending in chemical pregnancies) and so it wouldn’t have been valid until now.
I’m not feeling 100% about taking Femara, just because I’m unsure if I really need it. Does anyone have any insight on the why I would be getting it prescribed if I seem to be ovulating each month?
Thanks for the help! The women here are really such an amazing source of information
